Do you have a location I can come to?

Yes! I have a home studio in Layton, Utah.

How early should I book my makeup appointment?

As soon as you know the date of your event, I would reach out! Better to be early than too late!

I have eyelash extensions. Is that ok?

Yes, eyelash extensions are perfectly fine! I do prefer to put on strip eyelashes so then I can customize them to the look and the persons eye shape, but I will work with either.

How should I prep my skin for my appointment?

The condition of your skin is the #1 determining factor in how good your makeup will turn out. I know that sometimes our skin condition can be unforeseen and really hard to control due to genetics, hormones, weather, etc. These are things you can due to get the most out of your makeup application:

The day before: Exfoliate and moisturize your face the night before your appointment.

The week before: Clean up the eyebrows and shave/wax any problem areas. If you can, dermaplaning your whole face will give you the best possible makeup application.

The month before: Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Schedule a facial with a trusted aesthetician or dermatologist. Don't try out any new skin care products, just stick to what you know works for you.

Dry, flaky skin although sometimes out of our control, is very hard to get a smooth makeup application on, so don't be afraid to use a lot of moisturizer! Even if you are an oily skin type!

Should I get a trial session before my wedding day?

My answer is always YES! A trial is a great way to make sure your makeup is going to be exactly what you want for your big day, and it takes the stress away from both of us. Sometimes what we think we want turns out to be something different, and that's ok! I always recommend booking your trial for an event such as your bridal shower, bridal photos, or bachelorette party just so you don't feel like its going to waste! If you plan to have a spray tan on your wedding day, make sure you also have one for your trial.

What should I wear to my makeup appointment?

Make sure that if what you are wearing for your event shows your chest/shoulders, you wear something that also shows that to your appointment. Just so I can make sure once you put your final outfit on all colors will match and everything will be cohesive.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring inspiration photos of someone with the same skin tone, eye color, and if possible hair color as you.

Also, make sure you bring realistic expectations! I can only do so much as a makeup artist.

Things I CANNOT do:

Get rid of wrinkles

Get rid of texture/acne

How long does makeup take?

For the majority of looks I need 1.5 hours. Bridal makeup sessions are 2 full hours. For bridal party members or large groups it is 45 min-1 hour per person.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, and card payments through Square. All card payments have an extra 3.5% fee.
